- Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, drizzle the chicken thighs with olive oil and sprinkle the seasonings evenly.
- Pour half of the BBQ sauce over the chicken thighs and mix gently to coat.
- Lay the chicken thighs smooth side down on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the thighs and brush with the remaining BBQ sauce. Bake for another 10 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C). Adjust cooking time if necessary.
- Switch to broil and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes to caramelize the BBQ sauce.
- Let the chicken rest for at least 5 minutes before serving, adding more BBQ sauce if desired.
