Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, drizzle the chicken thighs with olive oil and sprinkle the seasonings evenly.
  3. Pour half of the BBQ sauce over the chicken thighs and mix gently to coat.
  4. Lay the chicken thighs smooth side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the thighs and brush with the remaining BBQ sauce. Bake for another 10 minutes.
  6. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C). Adjust cooking time if necessary.
  7. Switch to broil and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes to caramelize the BBQ sauce.
  8. Let the chicken rest for at least 5 minutes before serving, adding more BBQ sauce if desired.
