Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and mash 3-4 ripe bananas until smooth, leaving a few small lumps.
  3. Mix 1 cup of sour cream, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 2 eggs into the mashed bananas until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gently until just combined.
  6. Stir in 1 cup of chopped walnuts into the batter.
  7. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan and optionally line it with parchment paper.
