- Preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C). Prepare a 9x13 baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
- Place the bottoms of the slider buns in the prepared baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated. Spread evenly over slider bun bottoms.
- Top with mozzarella, smoked gouda cheese, red onion, and cilantro. Sprinkle with black pepper.
- Place the tops of the slider buns on, cover the dish with aluminum foil, and bake for 15 minutes.
- Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan and mix in remaining cilantro; set aside.
- After 15 minutes, remove the foil, brush buns with cilantro butter, and bake uncovered for another 10 minutes.
- Let cool for a couple of minutes before slicing and serving.
