  3. Combine wet ingredients (butter, eggs, bourbon, yeast mixture) and pour into the well. Mix until rough dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  6. Prepare filling by mixing brown sugar, cinnamon, and crumbled bacon in a bowl.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  8. Spread softened butter over dough evenly.
  9. Sprinkle filling over the buttered dough, pressing down gently.
  10. Roll the dough into a tight log and pinch to seal.
  11. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish cut side up.
  12. Cover and allow rolls to rise for another 30 minutes.
  13. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) while rolls are rising.
  14. Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  15. Mix powdered sugar with maple syrup to create glaze.
  16. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
