Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine flour, softened butter, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl or food processor. Blend until a soft dough forms.
  3. Press the shortbread crust into the bottom of the lined baking pan and bake for 18-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. While the crust is baking, blend all filling ingredients until smooth. Pour the pineapple filling over the hot crust.
  5. Bake the filled crust for an additional 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  6. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan, refrigerate for 30 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar and slice.
