Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, softened butter, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl or food processor. Blend until a soft dough forms.
- Press the shortbread crust into the bottom of the lined baking pan and bake for 18-20 minutes until lightly golden.
- While the crust is baking, blend all filling ingredients until smooth. Pour the pineapple filling over the hot crust.
- Bake the filled crust for an additional 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan, refrigerate for 30 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar and slice.
