- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, 1 cup of shredded cheese, and 1-¼ cups of French-fried onions. Stir until well blended and heated through, about 4-5 minutes.
- Stir in the thawed broccoli florets until evenly coated with the creamy mixture.
- Grease a 2-quart baking dish and transfer the broccoli mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and edges are lightly browned.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese and French-fried onions on top. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Let the Cheesy Broccoli Casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
