  • a pinch Red Pepper Flakes optional

  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated, or Grana Padano
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
For the Finishing Touches
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley garnish, can substitute with chives or basil
  • to taste Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce for dipping

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Garlic Herb Oil: In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, and dried basil. Allow to sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. Roll Dough: Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle of approximately 12x18 inches.
  4. Oil Dough: Brush the entire surface of the rolled-out dough with garlic herb oil, reserving some for later.
  5. Add Cheese: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and then the mozzarella cheese evenly across the oiled surface.
  6. Cut Dough: Slice the dough into 1-inch strips, stack them, and cut into 1-inch squares.
  7. Arrange in Pan: Place the dough squares upright in the greased pan, packing them snugly.
  8. Final Touch: Brush the tops with remaining garlic herb oil.
  9. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
