Flatbread Base
  • 4 pieces Naan Flatbreads Use pre-packaged or homemade
Pesto
  • ½ cup Basil or Oregano Pesto Feel free to use store-bought
Toppings
  • 2 cups Fresh Mozzarella, shredded Substitute with provolone or cheddar if desired
  • 2 cups Baby Spinach Use fresh for best results
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes Optional, adjust to taste

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place naan flatbreads on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are evenly spaced.
  3. Spread a layer of basil or oregano pesto over each flatbread using the back of a spoon.
  4. Sprinkle shredded fresh mozzarella evenly over the pesto-covered flatbreads.
  5. Add a handful of fresh baby spinach on top of the mozzarella.
  6. If desired, sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes across the spinach layer.
  7. Bake the flatbreads in the preheated oven for approximately 10-15 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool briefly, slice, and serve warm.
