- Preheat the Oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Halve the green bell peppers lengthwise and scoop out seeds and membranes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef for 5-7 minutes, fully cooked and browned.
- Combine ground beef, cooked rice, tomato sauce, half of the shredded cheese, and Italian seasoning in a mixing bowl.
- Stuff the pepper halves with the filling and pack it tightly but don’t overstuff.
- Top each stuffed pepper with the remaining shredded cheese, cover with foil, and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
