Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then mix in marinara sauce and remove from heat.
  4. Mix ricotta cheese, egg, basil, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  5. Assemble layers in the baking dish: marinara, noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, and repeat.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
