  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine masa harina, softened butter, chicken broth, and chopped green chiles. Mix thoroughly until a smooth and pliable dough forms.
  2. In a large skillet, combine the cooked chicken, green enchilada sauce, and chopped cilantro. Cook over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spread half of the prepared masa dough evenly across the bottom.
  4. Sprinkle a generous layer of Monterey Jack cheese over the top of the casserole, covering the surface completely.
  5. Carefully place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 35–40 minutes, or until set and the top is lightly golden.
  6. Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving warm.
