  • 5 leaves Fresh Mint Leaves Basil can be an alternative.
  • 1 cup Club Soda or Sparkling Water Lemon-lime seltzer can be a fun twist.
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream Optional; dairy-free for vegan.
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes Optional if serving immediately.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a tall glass, combine fresh blackberries, simple syrup or granulated sugar, and fresh mint leaves. Muddle well for about 30 seconds.
  2. Squeeze the juice of half a lime into the muddled mixture. Stir well, and strain if desired.
  3. Fill the glass three-quarters full with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the club soda or sparkling water over the ice, stirring gently to combine.
  5. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, allowing it to melt into the drink.
  6. Garnish with fresh blackberries, mint, or a lime wheel, and serve immediately.
