Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 8 oz Linguine or Fettuccine Pasta Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free option.
For the Shrimp
  • 1 lb Large Shrimp Peeled and deveined.
For the Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Or another cooking oil.
  • 1 tablespoon Butter Can replace with olive oil for dairy-free.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth Low-sodium recommended.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Half-and-half can be used for a lighter version.
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated.
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning Adjust according to spice tolerance.
For Garnish
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley Chopped.
  • Salt To taste.
  • Black Pepper To taste.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Pat shrimp dry and season with Cajun seasoning. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from skillet.
  3. Lower heat, add remaining butter, and sauté garlic for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, increase heat, and reduce for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and half of the Parmesan. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Combine pasta and shrimp in the sauce, ensuring all is coated.
  8. Stir in remaining Parmesan and parsley. Adjust seasoning and serve immediately.
