  • 1 cup Ranch Dressing
  • 2 cups Egg Noodles Cook until al dente.
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded, can substitute with other melting cheese.
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup Homemade version can be used.
For Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 cup Chopped Broccoli Frozen broccoli is a quick substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Chopped, for garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Bacon Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic. Whisk in flour to form a roux, then gradually add heavy cream, stirring until thickened. Add ranch dressing.
  3. Cook egg noodles in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  4. Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish and layer half of the noodles, followed by half of the chicken.
  5. Pour half of the creamy sauce over the noodles and add half of the cheddar cheese.
  6. Repeat with remaining noodles, chicken, sauce, and top with remaining cheese and crumbled bacon.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with green onions if desired.
