Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season both sides of the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and brown the chicken thighs skin-side down for about 5 minutes.
  4. After browning, transfer the chicken thighs to a baking sheet and bake for approximately 20 minutes.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté sliced white mushrooms over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add chopped bacon to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes until crispy.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for about 2 minutes, stirring continuously.
  8. Return the baked chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them and heat through.
  9. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve over creamy mashed potatoes, zucchini noodles, or preferred sides.
