Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by cleaning and peeling the large shrimp, rinsing and patting dry. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant.
  3. If using, pour in ¼ cup white wine and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet, cooking 2–3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  5. Reduce heat to low, stir in ½ cup heavy cream and juice of half a lemon, simmering for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Toss in ¼ cup chopped parsley, stir, and serve.
