  1. Start by cutting the salmon into four equally sized pieces and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge lightly in flour.

  3. Sear the salmon pieces for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in chicken broth (or white wine) and lemon juice; simmer to reduce for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Dijon mustard, simmering for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Return the cooked salmon to the skillet, spooning sauce over each piece. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
