  • 100 g Brown Sugar Packed
  • 120 g Cold Unsalted Butter Keep very cold
For the Cream Cheese Layer
  • 250 g Cream Cheese High-quality
  • 100 g Sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Real for richness
  • 1 large Egg Blend until smooth

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cut in very cold unsalted butter until crumbly. Press into an oiled baking pan.
  2. Chop dried figs and cook with water until softened. Blend with lemon juice to make fig puree.
  3. Spread the fig mixture over the cooled crust.
  4. Beat together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg until smooth. Pour over the fig layer.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes until set but slightly jiggly. Cool completely before slicing.
