Step-by-Step Instructions for Pecan Pie Balls
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine finely chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.
  2. In a separate bowl, cream together unsalted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Use an electric mixer for about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until incorporated and sticky. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for another 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
  6. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and return to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
