Step-by-Step Instructions for Pecan Pie Balls
- In a large mixing bowl, combine finely chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, cream together unsalted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Use an electric mixer for about 2–3 minutes.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until incorporated and sticky. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for another 30 minutes.
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
- Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and return to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill the coated Pecan Pie Balls for an additional 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
