  • 2 medium Sweet Onions yellow or vidalia
For the Creamy Mixture
  • 1 cup Sour Cream or Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise or light mayo

  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs traditional or gluten-free
  • ¼ cup Butter melted

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the sweet onions thinly and layer them evenly in a greased baking dish.
  3. Pat the halibut fillets dry and place them on top of the onions.
  4. Mix the sour cream and mayonnaise in a bowl and spread over halibut.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the creamy mixture and drizzle with melted butter.
  6. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes until cooked through and topping is golden.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
