  • 4 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken Use rotisserie chicken or leftovers
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce Choose your favorite brand or homemade

  • 1 cup Red Onion Substitute with green onions if preferred
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese (Cheddar/Pepper Jack/Monterey Jack) Pick your favorite melting cheese
For the Finishing Touch
  • ½ cup Butter (Melted) Olive oil is a healthy substitute

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on the baking sheet.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well-coated.
  4. Spoon the BBQ chicken mixture over the bottom halves of the rolls. Drizzle with extra BBQ sauce and sprinkle with red onion and cheese.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls on the sliders and brush melted butter over the tops.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven, let sit briefly, cut apart, and serve warm.
