Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Microwave
  • Baking Sheet
  • Spatula

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by breaking each graham cracker in half, creating squares that will serve as the sturdy base for your Buckeye Graham Crackers. Arrange these pieces in a single layer on a lined baking sheet.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined, approximately 2-3 minutes.
  3. Scoop out portions of the peanut butter mixture and roll them into 1-inch balls. Flatten each ball slightly and place it on top of a graham cracker square.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Heat in the microwave on medium power in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until fully melted.
  5. Dip each assembled graham cracker into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's completely coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
  6. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the peanut butter chips with the vegetable oil using the same method until smooth.
  7. Once the chocolate is set, drizzle the melted peanut butter chips over the top in a zigzag pattern. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.
