  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened; use vegan for dairy-free

  • 6 oz Butterscotch or Peanut Butter Chips Can swap for white chocolate

  • Brown Sprinkles Or chopped nuts or themed sprinkles
  • Pretzel Sticks Or pretzel crisps

Method
 

Steps
  1. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes.
  2. Crush the Peanut Butter Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  3. Combine the crushed Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese in a large bowl until sticky.
  4. Shape the mixture into acorn shapes and place on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Freeze the acorns for about 1 hour, or until firm.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in intervals of 30 seconds.
  7. Dip each acorn into the melted chocolate and tap off excess.
  8. Melt the butterscotch or peanut butter chips and dip the tops of each acorn, then into the brown sprinkles.
  9. Cut pretzel sticks into ½-inch pieces, dip one end in melted butterscotch, and press into the top of each acorn.
  10. Let the assembled acorns set for 30 minutes before serving.
