Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9-inch baking dish with the first pie crust, pressing it into the corners and leaving some overhang.
  3. Layer cubed fresh mozzarella, diced prosciutto, and hard salami evenly over the crust, then sprinkle grated Parmesan and black pepper.
  4. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and pour most of it over the filling, reserving a small amount for later.
  5. Cover with the second pie crust, trim excess, seal edges, and brush the top with reserved egg wash.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 55 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
  7. Let the pie rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
