Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, large eggs, and vegetable oil. Blend until a sticky dough forms, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the Kelly green gel food coloring to the dough and mix until evenly distributed.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Use a tablespoon-sized cookie scoop to portion out the chilled dough and roll into balls.
  6. Roll each dough ball first in granulated sugar, then in powdered sugar.
  7. Arrange the coated balls on the baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9-12 minutes until glossy and slightly set at the edges.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
