Danish Butter Instructions
  1. Begin by placing your unsalted butter in a mixing bowl, letting it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to become soft and spreadable.
  2. In the bowl with softened butter, add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, blend the mixture on medium speed for about 2–3 minutes until smooth.
  3. Slowly incorporate the heavy cream and/or lemon juice into the mixture, blending on low for another minute until well combined.
  4. Taste the mixture. If you desire a sweeter flavor, add more powdered sugar, or for saltiness, sprinkle in more salt. Blend just until integrated.
  5. Transfer the Danish Butter into an airtight container, smoothing the top. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
