Method

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream, 1 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of black gel food coloring. Blend on medium speed for about 30 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste the milkshake and adjust consistency if needed - add another scoop of ice cream for thickness or a splash of milk for a thinner shake.
  3. Chill two tall glasses in the freezer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour the milkshake into the chilled glasses, filling just below the rim, then top generously with whipped cream.
  5. Sprinkle black and orange sprinkles over the whipped cream, add crushed chocolate cookies, and top with Halloween-themed candies.
  6. Insert black straws or spoons and serve immediately.
