Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) and allow it to heat for about 15 minutes.
  2. Mix together all the dry rub ingredients in a bowl until well blended.
  3. Coat the chicken wings with the dry rub in a large bowl, ensuring they are thoroughly covered.
  4. Arrange the coated wings in a disposable pan in a single layer and place in the smoker.
  5. Smoke wings for 1.5 to 2 hours, checking the internal temperature which should reach 165°F (74°C).
  6. Transfer the wings to a hot grill and sear on high heat for 5-10 minutes until grill marks form.
  7. Let the wings rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
