Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather your ingredients, chop the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, and slice the mushrooms, onion, and garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and sear for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add chopped onions and mushrooms. Sauté over medium heat for about 5 minutes until soft. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with 1 cup of chicken broth and salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Lower heat, add ½ cup of sour cream, and stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until creamy.
