Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Melt the butter and whisk in brown and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, stirring until well combined.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in coconut flakes, chopped pecans, and chocolate chunks.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
