  • 1 oz Pomegranate Juice
  • 1 oz Orange Juice fresh
  • 1 oz Orange Liqueur Cointreau preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
For the Spices
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper optional
For Garnish
  • 1 sprig Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon-Sugar Rim for coating
Optional Fizz
  • 2 oz Ginger Beer top off

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the Cinnamon-Sugar Rim by mixing equal parts coarse sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Rub tangerine or orange around the rim of the glass and coat it in the mixture.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, add pomegranate juice, fresh orange juice, tequila, orange liqueur, honey, and vanilla extract. Sprinkle in ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
  5. For a fizz, top off with ginger beer. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and fresh rosemary.
