  • 1 medium Yellow Onion Chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream
  • ¾ cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese Use freshly grated for melting
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning Substitute with Creole seasoning if needed

  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley Chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, melt unsalted butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Add cabbage wedges and sear for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and sear the other side for another 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. Lower the heat to medium and sauté chopped onion for about 5 minutes until soft and translucent. Add minced garlic and Cajun seasoning, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, scrape the skillet to enhance richness, and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley until smooth and creamy.
  4. Return cabbage to the skillet, ensuring they are coated with sauce. Cover partially and cook for 5 more minutes until fork-tender.
  5. Garnish with additional parsley and serve warm alongside grilled meats or as a hearty side.
