Kale Pesto Preparation
- In a food processor, combine fresh kale, garlic cloves, and your choice of pine nuts or walnuts. Drizzle in high-quality olive oil while blending until smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or pepper as needed.
Preheat Oven
- Set your oven to 475°F (245°C) and preheat fully.
- If using a pizza stone, let it heat for at least 30 minutes.
Shape Dough
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pizza dough to about ¼ inch thick.
- Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet or pizza peel sprinkled with flour.
Assemble Pizza
- Spread a generous amount of kale pesto across the dough, leaving a slight border.
- Sprinkle cheese over the pesto and add any additional toppings.
Bake
- Transfer the assembled pizza to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Watch for bubbling and a golden-brown crust.
Cool & Serve
