  • 1 leaf Bay Leaf remove before serving

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot, combine the homemade bone broth and bone-in chicken pieces, bringing it to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, carefully add your chopped carrots, celery, onions, and minced garlic, alongside fresh parsley, thyme, and a bay leaf. Lower the heat to a gentle simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Let the soup simmer uncovered for 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  4. Remove the cooked chicken from the pot and shred it into bite-sized pieces, then return it to the broth.
  5. Taste the soup and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, stirring well.
  6. Ladle the warm soup into bowls and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
