Step-by-Step Instructions for Strawberry Truffles
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler. Add unsalted butter and heavy cream in a saucepan, heat until butter melts and cream is warm.
- Pour the hot butter and cream mixture over the white chocolate chips and let sit for 1-2 minutes. Stir in strawberry and vanilla extracts and pink food coloring until smooth.
- Cover the bowl and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour until firm but pliable.
- Scoop out 1 to 1½ tablespoons of the mixture and roll each scoop into smooth balls. Coat with powdered sugar.
- Return the coated truffles to a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill for another 30 minutes to 1 hour to firm up.
