  • 2 cans Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls Avoid those already topped with icing.
  • 4 large Eggs Fresh eggs for rich texture.
  • 2 cups Milk Almond or oat milk can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Opt for pure vanilla.
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon Adjust to preference.
  • ½ cup Maple Syrup Honey or agave can be alternatives.
  • ¼ cup Butter (melted) Margarine or vegan butter can be used.
For the Icing
  • 1 cup Icing Homemade can be created with powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375ºF (190ºC).
  2. Pour the melted butter into a 9×13 glass baking dish, coating the bottom evenly.
  3. Slice each refrigerated cinnamon roll into about eight pieces and layer them in the baking dish.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until combined.
  5. Drizzle maple syrup over the egg mixture and ensure it's evenly distributed.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or bake immediately for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then heat the icing until thin for drizzling.
  8. Drizzle the icing over the casserole before serving warm.
