Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Toss the cubed ciabatta bread with olive oil and dry rosemary until well-coated. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes until golden and dry.
- Whisk together the eggs, half & half (or milk), salt, white pepper, and onion powder in a separate bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Fold the dried bread into the egg mixture, adding 1 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Layer half of the bread mixture in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle ½ cup of Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Add the remaining bread mixture on top and finish with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake uncovered for about 35 minutes until golden and set in the center.
