  • 12 oz Mushrooms thickly sliced white

  • 2.5 tablespoon Dijon Mustard recommended Grey Poupon
  • 2.5 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce do not substitute
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper
  • ¾ teaspoon Thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 whole Bay Leaf remove before serving
For Thickening
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with broth
For Creaminess
  • 6 oz Cream Cheese cubed, at room temperature
  • ¾ cup Sour Cream recommended Daisy brand
For Garnish
  • ¼ cup Parsley fresh, chopped
For the Base
  • 10 oz Egg Noodles cooked until just tender

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by preparing your ingredients for the Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the dry seasonings for this Beef Stroganoff.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the beef broth, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and the previously mixed dry seasonings.
  4. Add the prepared beef, diced onion, minced garlic, and thickly sliced mushrooms into the slow cooker.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and set it on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours.
  6. Prepare the cornstarch slurry 20 minutes before serving.
  7. Stir the cornstarch slurry into the slow cooker and mix well.
  8. Once thickened, add the cubed cream cheese into the slow cooker, stirring until it melts into the sauce.
  9. While the stroganoff finishes cooking, prepare the egg noodles according to package directions.
