Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and minced garlic. Add Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, hot sauce, salt, and pepper, and gently combine.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a clean surface and shape it into a loaf. Place on a baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the remaining brown sugar and hot sauce for the glaze. Brush half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake the meatloaf for 45 minutes.
  6. After 45 minutes, apply the remaining glaze and return the meatloaf to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Once cooking time is complete, let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Slice and serve warm with sides like mashed potatoes.
