- In a food processor, combine almond paste, granulated sugar, and salt. Pulse until sandy and then add egg whites until smooth.
- Scoop 1-inch portions of dough, roll into balls, and coat with pine nuts. Place on baking sheets with space in between.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.
- Cool on the trays for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
