Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
- Cube the chicken breasts and layer them at the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add softened cream cheese to the seasoned chicken and blend until evenly distributed.
- Pour in the heavy cream and mix until smooth.
- Stir in the diced jalapenos and distribute evenly.
- Top the casserole with shredded mature cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until cheese is bubbling and golden.
- In the last 5 minutes, add the chopped cooked bacon on top.
- Remove from oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
