Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix the star of this dish, no substitute recommended
  • 1 large Beaten Egg can substitute with ground flaxseed mixed with water
  • 1 cup Plain Breadcrumbs or crushed crackers or oats
  • ½ cup Whole Milk or dairy-free milk or broth
  • ½ cup Ketchup or tomato sauce or BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce or soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper omit for a milder version
For the Sweet Ketchup Glaze
  • ½ cup Ketchup forms the base of our glaze
  • 1 tablespoon Light Brown Sugar can use honey or maple syrup for sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard adds a zesty touch

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan with cooking spray or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into the prepared pan or on a lined baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and yellow mustard for the glaze, then spread it on top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour, checking the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. After removing from the oven, let the meatloaf rest for 5-8 minutes before slicing.
