Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prep your baking dish by greasing it.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil, add rigatoni, and cook until al dente (9-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic and onion for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add Italian sausage and lean ground beef, cooking for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Toss cooked rigatoni with the meat sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Transfer mixture into the greased baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
