Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry to about ⅛-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the rolled pastry into 3-inch squares or circles.
  4. Place the cut pastry shapes onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
  5. Place a cube of creamy Brie cheese in the center of each pastry.
  6. Spoon cranberry sauce over the Brie cubes without spilling over the pastry edges.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle salt, pepper, and thyme over the filled bites.
  8. Gently fold the pastry corners over the filling or leave them open.
  9. Lightly brush the tops of the prepared bites with the beaten egg.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Allow the bites to cool briefly before serving.
