  • 4 medium potatoes sweet potatoes can be used as a healthier alternative
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika regular paprika for milder taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder fresh garlic enhances aroma
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder fresh onions are a fantastic alternative
  • 1 teaspoon salt sea salt or kosher salt preferred
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper white pepper is a milder option
For the Filling
  • 1 pound lean beef mince or ground turkey/plant-based mince
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce can use kale or spinach
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup cheese traditional or dairy-free
  • 1 cup pickle slices jalapeños for spicy kick
For the Burger Sauce
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a lighter option
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup or tomato paste with water
  • 1 teaspoon mustard Dijon or yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice or apple cider vinegar

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper to create a spice mix for potatoes and beef.
  2. Wash and cut potatoes into wedges. Dry them, toss with olive oil and half of the spice mix.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F or oven to 425°F. Cook seasoned potatoes for about 20-40 minutes until crispy.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil, add beef mince and remaining spice mix. Cook for 7-10 minutes until browned.
  5. Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika for sauce.
  6. Assemble bowls with crispy potatoes, shredded lettuce, beef, cheese, pickle slices, and homemade sauce.
