  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are thoroughly coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Slice the red onion into thin rings and place at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Layer the marinated chicken on top of the sliced onions in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 4 hours.
