Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather all your ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Cream together for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the beaten eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined, careful not to overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips to the dough.
  7. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges but slightly soft in the center.
  9. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
