Step-by-Step Instructions for Parmesan Green Beans
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add sunflower seed oil. Stir in panko breadcrumbs and sauté for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Add a pinch of salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese; cook for another minute.
- In the same skillet, add sunflower seed oil and heat. Add trimmed green beans and sprinkle with salt. Sauté for about 8 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
- Add minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and black pepper in the last minute of cooking. Stir in and sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese over the beans.
- Arrange sautéed green beans on a platter and top with toasted panko mixture and any fried shallots prepared.
