Step-by-Step Instructions for Parmesan Green Beans
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add sunflower seed oil. Stir in panko breadcrumbs and sauté for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Add a pinch of salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese; cook for another minute.
  2. In the same skillet, add sunflower seed oil and heat. Add trimmed green beans and sprinkle with salt. Sauté for about 8 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
  3. Add minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and black pepper in the last minute of cooking. Stir in and sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese over the beans.
  4. Arrange sautéed green beans on a platter and top with toasted panko mixture and any fried shallots prepared.
