  • ¾ cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice fresh
  • 2 tablespoons Diced Pickles half a pickle
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard can substitute yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar adjust sweetness to taste
For the Shrimp Patties
  • 20 pieces Medium Sized Shrimps size 41-50, frozen and uncooked
  • ½ teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • ½ piece Egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley Flakes or fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup Diced Onion for moisture
  • 2 tablespoons Potato Starch can substitute corn starch
  • ½ cup Korean Style Breadcrumbs or Japanese Panko
For Serving
  • 2 pieces Burger Buns potato buns or favorite kind
  • Additional Toppings lettuce, cheese, onions, tomato, and peppers

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), lemon juice, diced pickles, Dijon mustard, and sugar. Stir until creamy and set aside.
  2. Lightly coat a fry pan with oil, heat over medium heat, and toast the inner sides of the burger buns until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Rinse shrimp under cold water. Chop 15 shrimps into small pieces, leaving 5 larger for texture. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix chopped shrimp, salt, beaten egg, parsley flakes, diced onions, potato starch, and breadcrumbs until well combined.
  5. Shape the mixture into two equal round patties and optionally coat with extra breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil for shallow frying in the fry pan over medium-high heat. Fry patties for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers with a layer of lettuce on the bottom bun, the shrimp patty, creamy tartar sauce, and your favorite toppings.
