Step-by-Step Instructions for Greek Chicken Gyros
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until combined.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips and place them in a large resealable bag or dish. Pour the marinade over and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  4. Warm the pita bread on the grill for about 1 minute until soft and pliable.
